#JEP2025 : Espace Muséal Berthe Morisot

This 42st edition will be an opportunity to visit some of Versailles Grand parc' heritage sites, many of which will be exceptionally open for the occasion. A first time for the Berthe Morisot house.

Permanent museum tour

Berthe Morisot, the first female Impressionist painter,

spent "the happiest moments of her life" in Bougival.

The museum tour takes visitors on a journey into the world of Berthe Morisot and the Impressionist atmosphere of the 19th century.



Exhibition: The Balcony, to see or to be seen?

The exhibition aligns the Maison Berthe Morisot with the theme

"Architectural Heritage" of these Days, as two remain

pieces of architecture that the artist painter knew: the central staircase

Wooden and the balcony of the west façade. Berthe Morisot immortalized this

last in his painting On the Balcony of Eugène Manet's Bedroom.
