This exceptional programme features a meeting between Pärt and Beethoven, performed by an ensemble dedicated to rediscovering musical nuggets. You'll hear the moving Adagiode from Mozart's Piano Sonata in F major, transcribed by Pärt as a tribute to Oleg Kagan. The programme will also highlight Muczynski's singular “Fantasy Trio”, as well as the Trio by Ries, a pupil of Beethoven. Finally, Beethoven's charming and colourful “Gassenhauer” trio will round off this musical journey.
