Théâtre des Arcades - Le Chant des lions
At the Théâtre des Arcades on Saturday 8 November, love invites itself to retrace the moving destiny of Germaine Sablon and Joseph Kessel, united by a song that would go down in history.
Love stories often end badly. But some change the course of history. 1933. Germaine Sablon, one of the capital's most popular singers, is performing in a cabaret. In the audience was Joseph Kessel, journalist, author, aviator and adventurer. It was love at first sight, but the war came and changed the lives of the two lovers. Today, all of Germaine Sablon's songs have been forgotten... All except one. The one they created together: Le Chant des partisans.
