Two little girls, Mei and Satsuki, move from the city to the country with their father. Everything amazes them: nature, animals... and their new neighbours... They discover the existence of some marvellous creatures, the Totoros, funny characters with rounded bellies. Accompanied by these guardians of the forest, they discover secret passages in giant trees, travel by ‘Chat-Bus’ and grow magic seeds...
