#JEP2025 - 3rd Georges Bizet Festival - 150 years of Carmen in Bougival
The Friends of Georges Bizet celebrate 150 years of Carmen.
Popular music from the ramparts of Seville travels through the streets of Bougival and the Parc des Frênes to music inspired by Spain, played in the salons of Pauline Viardot.
19 September - 7.30pm – 8.45pm: Cante Flamenco - Jesus Mendez and Pepe del Morao
20 September - 3pm - 4.30pm: Seguidillas y canciones - Guitar and vocals CRR de Versailles Grand parc
20 September - 5.30pm & 7pm: Spain on the 1898 Erard piano - Edoardo Torbianelli
21 September - 11.30am & 5.30pm: Carmen song recital - Anaïs Bertrand, mezzo-soprano, and Flore Merlin, 1898 Erard piano
And free entertainment in the Frênes estate and in the streets of Bougival on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 5pm
by the students and the Melocon brass band of the CRR de Versailles Grand Parc
